By accessing this Website or purchasing a property estimate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this Website.

  1. Service Description

Check My House Worth provides automated property value estimates generated using third-party data sources and algorithmic valuation models.

Users may pay a one-time fee to unlock and view the full estimated value associated with a property address entered on the Website.

This service is provided strictly for informational purposes only.

  1. Not an Appraisal

The estimate provided through this Website:

  • Is NOT a certified appraisal

  • Is NOT prepared by a licensed real estate appraiser

  • Is NOT a broker price opinion

  • Is NOT legal, financial, tax, or investment advice

You agree not to rely on this estimate as a substitute for professional appraisal services, licensed advisory services, or real estate brokerage services.

No fiduciary, brokerage, advisory, or professional relationship is created by use of this Website.

  1. Accuracy Not Guaranteed

Property estimates are generated using third-party data, public records, and probabilistic modeling techniques.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy

  • Completeness

  • Reliability

  • Current market validity

Real estate markets fluctuate. Public records may contain inaccuracies or omissions. Third-party data providers may supply incomplete or outdated information.

Use of this Website and any estimate provided is entirely at your own risk.

  1. Third-Party Data Providers

Property data and valuation inputs may be derived from third-party providers, including but not limited to RentCast and public data sources.

We do not independently verify all underlying data.

We are not responsible for inaccuracies originating from third-party sources.

Third-party providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

  1. Payment Terms and Digital Delivery

A fee is required to unlock full access to a property estimate.

All payments are processed securely through Wix Payments or an authorized payment processor. We do not store or process full credit card information.

By completing payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The service is delivered immediately upon successful payment.

  • The content provided constitutes digital goods delivered instantly.

  • You receive the full benefit of the purchased service at the time of payment.

  • The transaction is final.

ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Because the service is digital and delivered instantly, you expressly waive any right to rescind, reverse, dispute, or cancel the transaction once payment is completed.

  1. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

You agree not to initiate any chargeback, reversal, or payment dispute with your credit card provider or payment processor without first contacting us at hello@appcano.io and allowing at least 30 days for informal resolution.

Initiating a chargeback after receiving access to the digital service constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

If a chargeback or payment reversal is initiated after delivery of the service:

  • We reserve the right to provide proof of delivery and acceptance of these Terms to the payment processor.

  • You agree to reimburse Appcano LLC for any fees, penalties, or costs incurred as a result of the chargeback.

  • We reserve the right to pursue collection of any unpaid amounts to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appcano LLC’s total liability to you for any claim arising from use of this Website or purchase of an estimate shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service.

Under no circumstances shall we be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Financial losses

  • Lost profits

  • Real estate investment losses

  • Market-related losses

  • Reliance on valuation data

Even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree that use of this Website is at your sole risk.

  1. Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@appcano.io and allow 30 days for informal resolution.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration shall take place in Delaware.

You agree that:

  • Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis only.

  • You waive the right to participate in a class action.

  • You waive the right to participate in any representative proceeding.

  • You waive the right to a jury trial.

  • You waive the right to bring claims in court except as required by law.

The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve disputes relating to interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement.

This arbitration clause survives termination of these Terms.

  1. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Website

  • Attempt to scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or replicate valuation models

  • Use the service for commercial resale

  • Interfere with Website functionality

  • Attempt to bypass payment systems

Violation of this section may result in termination of access and legal action.

  1. Intellectual Property

All Website content, software, valuation models, and design elements are the property of Appcano LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

  1. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, third-party API failures, payment processor disruptions, data provider interruptions, governmental actions, or acts of God.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
